Ghostly Tales Under the Stars
If you’re looking for something fun and different to do this weekend, check out the Planetarium’s presentation of Ghostly Tales Under the Stars, a planetarium show combined with an hour of spooky tales. This special holiday treat will be presented at the Planetarium on Friday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday, October 29 at both 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Also, look for Mars: Quest for the Red Planet, premiering on October 21 and running weekends through November 19. Throughout history Mars has captured the imagination. Explore the fiery Red Planet and its fascinating history—from Mars's role as the ancient God of War to the modern search for life on this dry wind-swept world.

Admission for each of the Illinois State University's Planetarium's public programs is $3 for adults, $2 for children ages 5-12, and $1.50 for children ages 3-4. Friends of the Planetarium are admitted free of charge. Tickets may be purchased in the Planetarium Gift Shop, next to the Planetarium, beginning 20 minutes before each show.

The Planetarium is located under the white domed roof at the east end of Felmley Hall of Science. Felmley Hall is located at the intersection of School Street and College Avenue on the northeast corner of the ISU campus.

Free parking is available for the Planetarium's public shows a short distance north of the ISU Planetarium in University parking lot F-67, located on the east side of School Street.
