The College of Arts and Sciences faculty won two of this year’s University’s Service Awards, according to an announcement from the Office of the Provost. Dr. Mary Campbell, Associate Professor of Social Work, was awarded the Outstanding University Service Award, which honors Illinois State University’s most exceptional leaders in service. Dr. Nathalie op de Beeck, Assistant Professor of English, won the University Service Initiative Award, which honors faculty members who, early in their academic careers, demonstrate excellence in service to the University. “College faculty members are not only outstanding teachers and researchers, but they are also dedicated to service as is evidenced by these awards," said Dean Olson. "I commend Professors Campbell and op de Beeck for their service to the College, the University, and their professional communities."
