ISUSeal
At the 2006 Spring Address last week, the Dean’s Awards for Outstanding Civil Service Member, Outstanding Administrative Professional, Outstanding Teaching, and Outstanding Scholarly Achievement were announced. In all, ten individuals from the College were honored across the four categories. “Today we honored ten, amazing individuals for their extraordinary achievements,” said Dean Olson. “The quality of nominees in each of these award categories was absolutely stellar. This embarrassment of riches is a clear indication of the superb quality of work being done by our faculty and staff.”
James Dunham was honored with the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Civil Service Staff Member. Dunham is in charge of the model shop in the Department of Physics and has been a dedicated member of the College for more than fifteen years. “This professional is so beloved,” said Dean Olson, “that his letters of support sound as if he should be a candidate for the Nobel Prize.”
