Over 375 people attended the two-day event and represented a 20% increase over last year attendance. The conference was made possible by sponsoring organizations and a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy. Loomis serves as Executive Director of ISU's Institute for Regulatory Policy Studies, which was created in 1997 and is housed in the Department of Economics. It serves the electricity, natural gas, and telecommunications industries and the regulatory community.
